DPG Media present in London: new hub for European advertising market
DPG Media strengthens its position in the European advertising market with the opening of a new office in London. This expansion enables the media company to work more closely with European and global media buying teams.
Centralization of digital media buying
From the new office in London, DPG Media's programmatic trading team will be in close contact with media agencies purchasing media internationally.
Stefan Havik, Chief Digital Officer at DPG Media: "In recent years, there has been increasing centralization of digital media buying through European and global buying teams. Major brands, in particular, acquire a significant portion of their media through buying hubs of global media agencies. Most buying hubs are located in London, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Paris and Munich. By increasing our focus on these hubs and our presence in London, we are responding to this centralization.”
International buying opportunities for local inventory
The international desk in London makes it more efficient for brands and media agencies to buy programmatic ads across the entire online DPG Media network in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Denmark.
Havik: "Where media buying hubs in the past sometimes prioritized efficiency over effectiveness with a 'one size fits all solution,' you now see brands and media agencies seeking trusted partners for connecting qualitative inventory. They are increasingly focusing on buying local online inventory from local publishers. At DPG Media, they can purchase efficiently, simply, and sustainably for the entire DPG Media Group, focusing on programmatic buying."
